On November 26, the national standard for "Biodegradable Drinking Straws" (GB/T 41008-2021) drafted by 12 companies including CSIC Pacli was officially released. The standard will be officially implemented on June 1, 2022.

The release and implementation of the standard has played an authoritative guiding role in the production, design, material selection and marketing of all biodegradable drinking straw industry. It is of great significance to have standards for such products and ensure product quality.
