With the improvement of environmental  awareness, traditional PP straws will gradually be replaced by fully  degradable straws led by polylactic acid (PLA). However, the heat  resistance of polylactic acid material is poor, and the heat resistance  of the unmodified polylactic acid straw is only about 50°C. By  experiments, it can be found that the heat resistance of milk tea straws  and coffee stirrers should be above 80°C in the usage environment

A  few days ago, the company received good news that the technical team  has successfully developed fully degradable and heat-resistant PLA  straws. The straw has excellent performance and temperature resistance  up to 85°C. It is currently an innovative product in the domestic  market, and it is environmentally friendly and practical.
